On 11–12 May, the ComeThinkAgain consortium gathered in Viborg, Denmark, hosted by Mercantec. Over two days, partners reviewed progress across all five work packages, dug into Cycle 1 pilot results, and aligned on the road ahead.
Pilots, Modules, and Lessons Learned
A large share of Monday was devoted to Cycle 1 piloting reports, with developing and piloting partners presenting their findings module by module. A World Café format gave everyone space to surface what worked and what needs refining before Cycle 2. PHZH contributed a session on simulations and games, one of the more creative threads running through the project’s methodology.
Certification and the Digital Infrastructure
Tuesday focused on exploitation, sustainability, and the certification model. The consortium confirmed that the certification exam will serve as the sole basis for the ComeThinkAgain credential — a deliberate choice that keeps the certificate rigorous and legible to employers and institutions. Open Badges, their visual design, and integration with platforms like LinkedIn were also discussed, alongside updates on the Moodle course infrastructure and the path toward converting courses into full MOOCs.

What’s Next
The meeting closed with updates on dissemination, multiplier events planned across partner countries, and the ComeThinkAgain Community of Practice. The final conference and last consortium meeting will be held in Austria — dates to be confirmed.
Viborg was a reminder that transforming education happens one conversation at a time — and that this consortium is having the right ones.
